About HUSA Transportation Group

 

Husa Transportation Group is a Group of companies that has set itself the target of becoming a European market leader in intermodal logistics solutions where rail transportation is the “key differentiator”. With subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland, Husa Transportation Group is already a major player in the European market for rail freight.


Husa Transportation, which was founded in December 1998 in the Eindhoven region in the Netherlands, consists of several divisions, each of which focuses on its own specific core activity. The separate divisions each play a different role in the range of business services. Interdivisional provision of services creates additional synergy, which allows us to service our customers’ needs even more efficiently.

 

The Husa Railway Services division, which manages a number of wholly owned rail operators, focuses on steadily building a strong strategic position in the European market for the transportation of freight by rail. Husa Transportation is the market leader in the Dutch market for rail freight and a significant player in the German market with local bases in Western and Southern Germany.

 

The Husa Logistic Services division concentrates on organizing intermodal freight. Husa Logistics Services offers “door-to-door” logistics solutions by rail, road and water for both maritime and continental cargo flows from the sea ports and important industrial areas of Western Europe to the European hinterland. With its own inland terminals in the North of The Netherlands Husa Logistic Services is well positioned for the storage and transfer of goods that comes with intermodal solutions.

 

In support of its railway activities and in order to provide an additional service to customers, Husa Transportation Group also owns its own fleet of rolling stock and locomotives. The fleet is operated by RailMotion and is available for use by third parties.
